Meet the Executive Director,
Joshua Lorenz, LPN
Joshua Lorenz, LPN, brings more than a decade of dedicated experience in senior living and a deep passion for person-centered dementia care. Josh began his career in 2011 as a nurse in assisted living, where he quickly advanced to Health and Wellness Director—a role that fueled his commitment to improving the lives of older adults.
In 2015, Josh joined SummerHouse Beau Ridge and discovered a special calling in working with residents affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions. He became certified through Kim Warchol’s company, The Crisis Institute, receiving specialized training to better serve those living with dementia. In 2021, Josh expanded his impact by founding an adult daycare center in Gluckstadt, where he supported families navigating the complexities of dementia care. After three meaningful years, he returned to SummerHouse Beau Ridge to serve as Executive Director, where he now continues to lead with heart, purpose, and innovation.
Outside of his professional role, Josh is a proud husband and father of two. His wife also works in healthcare, providing hospice care and end-of-life support to families. Josh enjoys spending quality time with his family and volunteering at his daycare.
